It’s rough making friends these days, partial wfh and weird/erratic hours aren’t helping either.
I avoid it in public, but a lot of times modern slab phones are just plain uncomfortable to use for extended periods when held up to ones head. Or just awkward to hold in listening position when multitasking. The default audio newer phones is often overwhelmed in situations with ambient noise too
Finding real world friends after college is difficult. Finding real world friends when you're 55, work from home, and have social anxiety is fucking impossible. =(

This district is just letting AI make random guesses at what books to ban, and since AI can't actually read or interpret books, it's just flagging any book not specifically listed as a kids book, even if they used to be required reading.
Going through REALLY old comic strips and this one is a constant mood.
To the people that are all too happy about the NY AG Steam lawsuit saying that all the people against it are Valve stans.
I beg of you to understand the dangers of age verification to vulnerable populations that the lawsuit is pushing on the down low.
FOR EVERYONE not just people in NY.

Here's my bottom line:
Much of what they are doing is bad.
Much of what they are doing is unpopular.
Pushback is working.
We are winning.
Keep fighting.
Be creative.
Push for what you'd want.
Allow for insiders and outsiders.
Realize that change takes time.
Reduce harm in the meantime.
The government is asking for public comments on whether banks should be able to deny you from buying legal goods at their own whim (i.e. how they're cracking down on art)
