Ridiculous situation. A man who has spent the last thirty years being one of the most inventive, prolific and funniest stand-ups out there. You should make a beeline for this, I'd say.

A memorable trip to Bo'ness last night for the opening of Sylvia Dow's impressive and moving new play Blinded By The Light at the remarkable Barony Theatre. The play is partly about the lost battle to save the local colliery in 1982 so fitting that the Kinneil Band were on hand to welcome folk in.

Thank you so very much Ian, Mum would have celebrated her 90th birthday the day before Mother’s Day. She would also have been delighted to know that she was being remembered like this. There is such power, beauty and love in what you do each year.

Have written to my MP and, again, explained the idea of “property”.
5 minutes on Radio 4 that will have felt like 5 years for all concerned at the Six o clock news, and an unflappable continuity announcer. Just about managing to avoid enough dead air to trigger a Trident Nuclear attack. We’re close enough to WW3 as it is. #Radio4 #Gremlins

That was the subject of an email NPR host Adrian Ma sent to newsroom leaders in the hours after the DC plane crash. He trusted us with sharing his story — and her contagious energy.
