These are the 3 coolest shots from tonight's 6 miles #trailrunning

Two screenshots, one from a Mac and one from an iPhone. The Mac screen shows a preview of an invoice in the left and the controls to change it on the right (lots of toggles and sliders etc). On the iPhone screen the preview is above the controls, so is quite small

I’ve been tweaking the UI quite a bit to be more sensible on a larger screen. Here, running on a Mac the controls are to the right which gives a much bigger live preview. SwiftUI makes things so much easier

It’s fair high level, but shows the SwiftUI like DSL I have and the process I’ve taken to get there.

Screenshot of iPhone. It shows a bar graph at the ok and a pie chart towards the bottom of the screen. In the middle is a heat map view. It shows a square per day over 30 days. They are variously shaded in from grey through blue and purple to red.

Amongst other tweaks today I’ve added more colour shading to the heat map so it now goes past solid blue (full day) through to red to highlight long days. I find this a very useful view to have.

Screen shots of a Mac and iPhone next to each other. Bothe are showing a screen from a new app with coloured buttons at the top and a list of quote information. In the Mac screen there is a sidebar.

I’m quite happy with the way the new app looks on the Mac now, with it adapting to have a sidebar rather than tabs.

We’ve got California poppies flowering, despite it being autumn and the weather has been cold and/or wet for weeks. I assume it’s because that state is also a cold and wet place so they feel right at home 🤷‍♂️
