I really need to re-record the gameplay trailer with the updates since I made the last one

I updated the editor UI to be consistent with the rest of the game, and to have pictures! It's ultimately more clear and easier to use/expand, so I'm pretty happy with the result 😸

Finally finished the new customizing interface for changing object properties in the level editor. It's much easier to extend for new objects now 🏗️

Thanks! The line is the main movement mechanic of the game; when objects move apart and the line gets longer, it generates more force to apply to the player. Normally, the line would never get this long during normal gameplay, it would snap when the tension becomes too great

I use this debug mode to realllly test the limits of the line. The line has been a beast to get stable, but I'm very happy with where it's currently at

Whenever you get a new record for a level exit, a replay is saved. When hovering over a level in level select, one of your replays will play on the preview screen 📺

Been working on adding subtle shadows when objects are in front of a background. It really helps to distinguish the foreground from the background and add a sense of depth to the level

Learning shaders is difficult but so rewarding. Definitely one of the best return on time investments in game dev. Some problems are so much easier to solve with shaders.
