Building more of the world, I'm finding the room maps give away a little too much. Trying a compass instead - it switches to a stage map on the pause screen, showing visited rooms as squares and the connections between them.

I've shown this effect before, but there's something else that's cool about it. There's nothing stopping me from placing these fake windows in front of walls. This is how the doors to other maps work. I didn't model any openings.

anyways i ended up reversing the inversed kinematics cause no point for now
spend a lot of time the other day figuring out the angles/math to procedurally position the characters elbow depending on the sword position only to later realize that the lil arms are so short they're basically covered by the cape most of the time and when they're not it's barely visible LOL orz

you were right, it was indeed just one thing LOL i destroyed a node that hosted several tweens, all of which were running endless loops for animation purposes. They all started errorring every like .1 second without me realizing orz

I suspect it has something to do with the draw order no longer being consistent but no clue really...

but it also broke several other visuals, like the interactions with bushes and the tall grass, so ive been getting that looking passable again lately.. 〒▽〒
