Ultimately I think its more preference than it is any other reason for most Vtubers. As for like Cis/straight-men, its eh, I think they just wanna feel hot with something they find attractive.

I know of a couple Vtubers that aren't exactly like this(granted most I watch are furries). one I watch, she does have a Vtuber like this(KINDA), but I'm pretty sure its only for herself.

She's plus-sized, so she draws her Vtuber with her own proportions, making her more confident in herself.

I mean, I myself never liked the ship, even when Undertale came out. But I just didn't dwell in it. Some good art here and there, but never liked it.

Didn't hate it, and still don't hate it after Chapter 4 came out. People are just still feeling the impact the ending of chp 4 had.

From what I remember playing, the Stadium games are only battles and tournaments, no real story.

You can customize a team or use rental teams and take on different battles. I only played the first stadium game, not Battle Revolution or onwards, so I don't know about others.
