You know I'm invested b/c I flew up knowing I wouldn't be get to watch #Arcane Season 2 Act II until 9PM CST last Saturday. And now that I've watched Act III, I'm so sad it's over I want to cry, traumatized Powder style.

So, that's my story so far. I've been up twice, trying to save two houses that were purchased to be in someone's portfolio as an investment, but no one ever did anything or paid the property taxes, so I'm going to try to save them. I don't know how it will go. But, a strong attempt will be made.

(Part 5) The second house, which I got at the silent, no minimum auction, was a surprise. I thought I would be outbid, but no. The house I call Baby C is a 19c build with a failing roof, but a dry basement and framing that is still square. It looks like someone tried renovating b4 roofing.

(Part 4) The first house, which I've named "Swash" due to a neighborhood urban legend I have yet to prove or disprove, is a ranch midcentury home with a full basement. She's definitely the winner of rust belt auction bingo. On my second trip up last weekend, I got a dumpster & protective gear.

(Part 3) Both homes are in bad shape, and it happened that I made a Bingo Card up before my first secret trip back to the home state after I won the first property.

(Pt 2)So, there's a website that holds tax auctions annually for different MI municipalities throughout each summer and fall. With the exceptions of a few auction house pictures and Google Earth, I put in a few carefully placed bets. When the season was over, I owned two distressed properties.
