I grew up minutes from this area of Philadelphia and still drive by it on occasion. It never fails to bring me joy to see Fantasy Island Adult Bookstore and Four Seasons on the horizon in Holmesburg.

Come 2024, well, we know what happened. Things sucked but didn't suck enough, people got amnesia about 2020. There are reasons too that the Democrats didn't win, but I'm hopeful seeing the wave of support for progressive candidates we see meaningful local change to lead to more national impact 2/2

I will also take this time to proclaim Zeebo the Clown from Are you Afraid of the Dark-The Tale of Laughing in the Dark as the most horrifying character in children's spooky entertainment.

WMMR and Pierre were such a staple to my college commute. This is gutting.

Along with our federal and PA government shutdown, in Philadelphia, there is a push to repeal the Soda Tax that has funded Universal PreK in the city since 2017. People would rather have their Pepsi at a lower cost then free high quality care for children and the ability for their families to work.

It's so confusing to me the same people who bemoan the loss of the Attitude Era content (Mankind V Undertaker, Mick Foley V The Rock etc.) wring their hands over Darby. I mean, there is a common denominator with the letters of the promotion, but what do I know🤷‍♀️

Continuing my viewing of horror movies I've never seen for spooky season, Burnt Offerings was incredible. The pace, soundtrack, and cinematography were top notch. Bette Davis' physical transformation was so well done.
