The AI bros definitely want you to use the most heavy description, because it is what makes training the AI easier 🙄

The blind are not the ones calling on artists to add alt-txt, and trying to make them feel guilty if they don’t… that’s a psy-op!

How does using the most basic description, eg. “Painting of a dog” hurt the visually impaired? It communicates what the picture was of—and that is the only purpose of alt-text!

A long drawn out description, eg. “ oil painting of golden retriever, laying on porch, beams of sunlight” make it better?

Maybe a simple description: painting of dog, followed by SEO keywords or URL for your shop?

If there is no alt-text the visually impaired person doesn’t know what the picture was, but they aren’t better served by a prompt rich description of the painting—only that it was a painting…

The detailed alt-text descriptions are super useful for the AI to know what prompts match…

But Alt-text is VERY useful for the AI that has scraped up ALL of our artwork to train their AI image generators! Because you are describing your picture and what it is of…The more details you can put into your alt-text, the MORE useful it is for training AI to take your job…

Alt-text on an artwork is hardly the same experience as being able to SEE the artwork… the visually impaired person will be able to hear the caption that indicates the is a painting or photo, and what it is of , which might give them more context…

A “zine” is printed or photocopied and saddle-stitched (stapled like a comic book), usually by hand.

Could you just have stat blocks for different systems? That way you have one bestiary, but can use it for multiple games 😎
