We have been careful to avoid using the word coup, but it’s time to call it what it is—this is a coup. Trump signed an executive order granting only the attorney general or the president the authority to interpret laws executed by the executive branch.

If you thought it wasn’t possible—well, here we are. Musk pulled $80 million in funding authorized by Congress straight from NYC’s bank account. The federal government took the funds and called it a “clawback” of taxpayer money. A lot of others would simply call it stealing.

This week, approximately 200,000 federal workers have been let go.

If you support any of this, you’re honestly just a terrible person. People’s lives are being upended and destroyed. For every 1% increase in unemployment, 40,000 people die—yet some are celebrating.
