This is what the site looked like in 1900 before Mount Coffin was demolished.

I would propose that as part of an amphitheater for an event center, and as a centerpiece for the waterfront park, that the design integrate a reconstruction of the long vanished rock formation.

The site is easily accessible at a major crossroads, and even includes rail access.

Such a project would provide far more jobs and economic benefit than the current industrial wasteland.

Kelso/Longview is a city with 3 rivers, but practically no accessible waterfront.

Instead of a log yard which ships our forests off to Asia, what if instead this space were occupied by an event center, dense affordable housing with attached retail, and a public waterfront park?
