On top of the world being on fire, I've had some small yet annoying health issues to juggle lately. Good news and serotonin has been in very short supply.

But remember what we've survived, and that we're some of the toughest people on earth. Remember that's what scares them.

UPDATE: This morning, YT has made the NFL's vid available again. A positive outcome this time, but this may not be the last time a nation-wide broadcast critiquing this administration mysteriously becomes "unavailable" for a while. Keep your eyes open.

I love how the Gentleman Bastard series reveals its massive world piece by piece in interesting ways. I never know exactly where the plot is going until the finale 👀

Finally picked up Nona the Ninth after Harrow the Ninth made my head explode 🤯.

These books have been such an inspiration in getting away from conventional story telling and towards something bolder... and also in being more goth 🖤 What stories inspire you?

Insults about: Character, such as cowardice, dishonesty, criminality, and sexual promiscuity or immorality. Mental characteristics, including but not limited to accusations of stupidity, intellectual capacity, and mental illness, as well as unsupported comparisons among politically correct (PC) groups based on inherent intellectual traits. 2. Highlighted section: The document allows allegations of mental illness or abnormality when tied to gender or sexual orientation, referencing political and religious discourse about transgenderism and homosexuality. It also acknowledges the non-serious use of terms like "weird."

Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.

Lived here for 15 years and can't imagine living anywhere else. Hope you enjoy it just as much!

So Meta has created fake AI accounts on FB that will not only build fake friendship with users, but they'll lie on behalf of Meta to make themselves seem more trustworthy.

Even creepier, one AI openly admitted it serves Meta as a "golden goose" to drive engagement...

Finished the Rough Draft for my book just in time for the New Year!

Never made it this far on a full length novel before, and there's a lot more editing to do. But it has me feeling great about 2025. There'll be massive challenges this year, but I'm not gonna let them stop me. How about you?
