I Gave You Eyes and You Looked Toward Darkness, by Irene Solà, translated by Mara Faye Lethem

Maybe the densest novel under 200 pages I've ever read. I was lost, found, then lost again. This book contains some of the most stunning lines. A frenzy of magical grotesque beauty. Two dozen folktales packed in a cabin in the woods. I'm already craving more.
