I have to admit that when I’m out running in the morning, and I pass a dog and their person out walking, that I tend to say ‘good morning!’ followed by ‘and hi! human’. Dogs are the best.

And the critter count for this morning was one opossum scampering up a tree, and 3(!) Cooper’s Hawks in s tree discussing the plan for the day. Low bunny count today — reference aforementioned raptors. And no deer today for whatever reason.

About 2 weeks out from a HM, and I crushed a 10 mile training run this morning. The return to Fall temps is like an afterburner. The easy run turned into a progressive for the last quarter.

Completed my first HM distance run today. Had to get over a mental block and align my prep to go out today. Pace is still in the ‘easy run’ category, and I don’t see that improving substantially in the near future. Still, good to finish! #RunSky #running
