Here’s one for independent researchers out there. I will shortly be publishing journal articles as an independent researcher, but don’t rule out returning to a university at some point. Is there some way I can make my work Green Open Access without access to an institutional repository?

Presenting again tomorrow to a large student cohort on how evidence guides practice. I’ve cut out the maths this time. It really does put people off. But I don’t think you can get a proper critique going of the EEF toolkit if you don’t understand the idea of an effect size.

The problem with Netflix adapting all my favourite sci fi book series is that they repackage and reprint them all, so in the case where my set is not yet complete, now the covers on my new ones aren’t going to match the old ones.
