Every once and a while, I get bummed and think about how big of an impact The Confluence would be making in Pittsburgh right now if it hadn't been canceled. The discussions with mayoral candidates outside of contentious debates, interviews with heads of museums whose funding is being cut, and more.

The person who posted about it in the nhood’s FB group said something about the Diocesan rules related to items that have a “sacred” classification being prohibited from being moved or repurposed…or something along those lines?

I saw a lengthy post in the Bloomfield fb group by someone who tried seemingly very hard to at least save the mosaic / stained glass.

Probably worth saving this number
