Call of the Wilde: Ivan Demidov on verge of breakout as Habs down Jets - Montreal | Globalnews.ca Two losses. That's the point at which an NHL team must recover to stop the bleeding. Teams with a lot of three-game losing skids often don't make the playoffs.

A crucial win and the best 5-on-5 game of Demidov’s career. Also, top marks for Nick Bobrov so far as Canadiens head scout.

All in this Call Of The Wilde for Global Montreal.

This is the way I feel about her songwriting. Her songs are HER songs.

What a songwriter. Storyteller. I think my favourite.

She is fantastic. In addition to what she bringsβ€”her hockey IQ, ability to communicate, and passionβ€”she doesn't bring the attitude that she's a former player so somehow can just say s*it.

A friend was telling me that Kicking Horse is now cheaper than other more 'generic' coffees because it's Canadian roasted and not affected by tariffs.

I am into Kicking Horse '3 Sisters' medium roast right now. It's a bit cheaper than my fave (Canadian) roaster, Fernwood. And I can get it at Costco. But I hoard Fernwood medium roasts whenever it goes on sale (I get it at Safeway).

They traded their 2026 first rounder. However, it is top-5 protected. (a colleague is a Leafs fan - we just had this conversation last week). So they could go as low as 28th ;)

I’ve seen some video that supports that statement. Attended The Shea Weber School of Cross Checking.

There was an interesting perspective on one of the MS Now shows. The one pundit said she was setting herself up to go against JD. She’s doing an β€˜apology tour’ now, with sights on getting the nomination.

In the 201 second year course, I learned if there is an opportunity to give the trailing team a power play to make the game close or more dramatic in the end, take that opportunity.

This is called game management. The league loves close games. They send out PR on it.

Make the league happy.

I enjoy reading all your articles. This one was particularly good. Very balanced in terms of acknowledging the various sides to this situation while not β€˜bothsidsing’. And weaving in the historical perspective (while also acknowledging this isn’t exactly that). Just a really well written piece.

Who said November’s face was grim?
Who said her voice was harsh and sad?
I heard her sing in wood paths dim,
I met her on the shore, so glad,
So smiling, I could kiss her feet!
There never was a month so sweet.

I was looking, and didn't notice much along the Trans Can. Even going through main ports, you might have to leave the Trans Can in search of a station,

Yes. This is my main concern. In city, ok. But if you travel long distances (we drive AB to ON in the summer), that would be stressful and possibly not even feasible.
