All I can say is I haven't had issues with it

I think it is fine. Wouldn't call it mushy but I'm also not a connoisseur of using the middle mouse button so often that I notice subtle differences. Makes a nice noise when pressed if that helps

Idk what kind of mouse you are looking for but I've been using the Glorious Model O- for the past few years and it still works as well as the day I got it. I also have a friend with the same mouse and it still works well for him.
