I wish Congress could stop individual patient’s insurance companies from calling doctors asking them why they’re not prescribing specifically named medications 4 the patient and if they won’t prescribe it then asking for a written reason. That feels like they’re in w pharmacies @crockett.house.gov
George Conway is not a Democrat nor Liberal in any kind of way. Any fool who votes for him is just giving away a Democrat position. Periodt.
Dems shld sue and indict individuals. SCOTUS said potus can’t be prosecuted but not others. If you do something as instructed by the elected or u draw up plans to present to the elected or work in hand w the elected -that u know or shld know he doesn’t have authority for, u shld be held accountable.
@juddlegum.bsky.social Doctors do not directly supply bandages and wound care supplies to patients. Well, only a 1 to 3 days supply. Patient supplies come directly from from DME supply companies. @joyannreid.bsky.social
@juddlegum.bsky.social no harm intended. As a retired healthcare provider, people need the wound care supplies to be paid for. Healing of wounds is important - it can end a life. Abuse? perhaps. And I’d like to know more but I’m just saying be careful how you shape the convo @joyannreid.bsky.social
ICYMI: Wednesday night's show, we talked with LDF's Janai Nelson following her first ever argument before the Supreme Court on the crucial issue of Voting rights. Also, Tara Palmeri makes a fascinating prediction on Trumps pardons; one of which has already come true! www.youtube.com/live/_BhIafw...
Louisiana v. Callais threatens to gut the Voting Rights Act, the very law that was created to stop states from silencing Black voters. If the Court rules against fair maps, politicians will have even more power to draw districts that dilute Black communities’ voices. #BlackVotersMatter
12:40 PM ET: Oral arguments in Callais v. Louisiana are over, and the Supreme Court is moving on to its next case. Check out our live blog below for a comprehensive review on our coverage👇
And stay tuned for a round-up of our takeaways, coming soon.
11:37 AM ET: If SCOTUS doesn't eliminate VRA districts entirely,
Greim is pushing to make Sec. 2 claims harder to prove. Until now, the Court has held that discriminatory voting practices can be struck down under Sec. 2 even without proof so long as their effects dilute minority voting power.
Good morning for the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court, where hundreds our already gathered to rally in support of the Voting Rights Act. Oral arguments begin in about 30 min in a pivotal case that will decide the future of voting rights in this country. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

@mattdcohen.bsky.social for on the ground coverage, where he'll be giving us a play-by-play from the steps of the Supreme Court.
Louisiana v. Callais could strip protections for majority-Black voting districts. If Section 2 of the VRA is struck down, communities will lose political power. We are mobilizing nationwide to demand the Court protect Black voters and ensure every voice counts.

Callais is the conservative legal movement’s latest vehicle to persuade the Court to do away with the greatest triumph of the Civil Rights Movement.
We’ll be at the Supreme Court tomorrow to defend a fair voting map in Louisiana. Diluting Black voting power is textbook discrimination — we're fighting for fair representation.
I’m about to keynote the Freedom Fund Gala at the 83rd NAACP Louisiana State Convention And Leadership Conference. We will stream my speech on the Black Star Network. Watch on the app or at Youtube.com/RolandSMartin #BlackOwnedMediaMatters
Don’t make the mistake of thinking the MSM is on Democrats side. Their narrative “the shutdown is Dems fault).

Baltimore Mayor Scott response on Trump: I think it's very notable that each and every one of the cities called out by the President has a black mayor, and most of those cities are seeing historic lows in violent crime…
When Trump declared a public safety emergency in D.C. Monday & took control of the Metro Police, also announcing he'd bring in the National Guard, the rules that apply everywhere else were not in play. The situation is unique & it’s important for us to understand. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...
Watching @cnn-news.bsky.social . That's the @tiffanydcross.bsky.social that I know. This country is now what it always has been. Periodt.
I have tried to watch #MSNBC to get a few news updates. When I think about what they did to #JoyAnnReid I get sick in the stomach and have to turn the channel. I know the hosts weren't responsible, but I can't do it w/o thinking about how they get to say anything they want to, but the black woman...
@joy.msnbc.com I saw the clip of you on @cnn.com . I was glad to see it but it came as no surprise to me. Your brilliance is unmatched. The "newer" analysts don't have the knowledge base. If you're going to be on it regularly I'll start watching it.
I will always love @charlesmblow.bsky.social - www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGvn...
I’m just out here tryna make sense out of nonsense. What is to stop a person who has sovereign power without consequence. Who is going to challenge the highest court “unceasingly” about the decision that “the elected” can’t be prosecuted? It is a dictatorship @democracydocket
#fantasia when in there on #americanidol and improved every single performance. She put some soul in them. That’ my girl- always has been and always will be. #blacksky
