One way we tend to โfightโ mindfulness is by keeping our minds busy. When we fill up every moment, there is no space to process our thoughts or feelings.
Times that space naturally occurs, but we try to fill it up:
- meal times (just eat)
- driving (no audio needed)
- shower (allow the thoughts)

I do what I do in my work to help other people, and Iโve been doing my self-development work to help myself, but in that moment the two collided and all that work helped this other individual and in doing so further served myself through encouragement.
It was a wonderful full-circle moment.

Iโve spent the past year (plus some), working on positive mindset shifts and consciously taking control of my thought patterns.
Last night a client, who I was helping with their job search, stopped and said to me, โWow, you have such a positive outlook on this!โ.
That moment felt so powerful.

- Have at least one platform where you have trained the algorithm for stress-free scrolling

If we applied this saying to ourselves and the people around us, how much less judgmental of โmistakesโ would we be? How much more open to different viewpoints would we become? How much much more likely would we be to forgive or let go?

I went to a Hatha Yoga class yesterday. I loved it.
From this one class, I would describe Hatha Yoga as a practice of self-love.
I have taken restorative yoga classes, which I also love, and would describe these as self-care.

Made a list of things I can do for myself. Now I have primed my mind to look for those things and I am finding more things I can do for myself. Activities that bring me joy, simple pleasures that bring relaxation or relief, and small tasks or reminders of who I am.
My list just keeps growing now.
