Just for clarity, apparently "reported suicide attempt" means he tried to kill himself, as opposed to somebody attempted to kill him. I had to look it up, as it could be read either way.

I am not sure how big a deal this is at the moment. All the banks I'm following are down, but from mayor highs. Even with today's drops, they can still be considered as high.

I think the EU have paused ratification of the previous agreement pending clarification from Trump's team as to how they intend to proceed. EU not happy with the US "renegotiating" the agreement they had reached less than a year ago.

$400 per week on food is a lot, presumably because you are a family. Here I spend about £450 per month ($600) for two (don't have children). Rent in London is quite expensive, £1,350pm ($1,822). You are paying more on both of those. I guess US really is more expensive.

Just looked it up. It is £92 per week, which is roughly $100 per week. This probably buys you more here than it would in the US, as I hear the US is quite expensive. This is supposed to pay for bills and food. You can also get some help with rent, but it is not that generous.

Over here in the UK you get something, not that much, but it is supposed to be enought to keep you going until you get a job. And I think you have to report your progress weekly. I've never needed to apply, but I do know the safety net is there.

Sounds like Russian disinformation to me. Russia is already having problems funding the war. They are not going to willingly reduce oil production because they feel like it. If production is cut, it is because US and EU sanctions are forcing them to do so (sanctions are working).
