My little plastic tank can either have a big long gun or a big mortar (pictured). So if I put some magnets on the back of the barrels and another magnet on the tank, then I can swap the barrels and have two different varieties of tank!

I can never seem to get the magnets to sit in whatever I drill quite evenly! Fortunately this time I had a 3d printed insert for the barrel side, and only had to drill the gun mount. Which I still didn’t get to sit exactly even, but close enough for it to work OK
I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit why I stopped work on this: a combination of being scared to magnetize the gun barrels, knowing that I wanted to add gray camo to the hull but having already “finished” it in just blue, and just being excited about other projects. But we’re back! #paintingwarhammer
