You'd think there'd be a bit more outrage about this, especially after everyone was so upset about Maccabi fans being barred. Curious.
Sean Dyche would have sent Joelinton off a couple of times here
Savinho Lamal
..and for Gallagher to say that is disengeneous, I was screaming at the TV for a foul, Guehi was on the floor for a while as well. Just because Gary Neville on telly or Jamie in the studio isn't talking about a foul doesn't mean "nobody was talking about a sodding foul!"
Anyone remember a foul in the box on de Bruyne by Partey in the 4-1 Arsenal win a couple of years ago? Exactly the same thing, he (Partey) stepped across him and everyone at the time said it was a foul by Kev.
Then gets it in his hands at 90:34 and throws it at 90:55 the second time.
Meaning for his two throws he took 48 seconds and 21 seconds.
So why the bloody hell is that not also considered time wasting??!!
Went back and watched the last 7/8 minutes of the game.
Nico O'Reilly picks the ball up at 82:15 and is booked as he throws the ball at 82:29, so he has the ball in his hands for 14 seconds.
Then Kayode picks up the ball at 85:40 and eventually throws it at 86:28.
Must be a typo
You can't just blame Guardiola, Grealish was good in 22/23, but well sourced City journos suggest he's been far from professional since, and has picked up numerous injuries potentially as a consequence. Truth is Doku, Savinho and before him Cancelo looked more dangerous attacking a full back.
I read that last night on the train home and I couldn't believe the bitterness and snide written throughout, I know he's a red but bloody hell, try and hide it a little bit!
Similar one written on football365 as well, a Rashford love in for half the article.
I moved over to an Irish channel after 15 minutes!
We played them at the Etihad on 17th April last year, we had 34 shots and had them playing a flat back ten, 10 months on and with the most makeshift of defences they came, bossed the game and easily could have scored five. The drop off is stark.
It isn't just Palmer, in the last few years Delap and Lavia looked promising and weren't trusted, and this season O'Reilly and McAtee have been woefully under utilised, there can always be one that slips through but City are doing it time and again.
Is the 'Cole Palmer situation' one where other clubs realise our youngsters are really quite good before we do?
*Newcastle* - playing Gordon well onside before the penalty
*Arsenal* - Taps Gabriel but does little else
*Watford* - Misses the ball completely
He's missed (or played minimal minutes in 12 games so far, of the games he has played he's at the scene of the crime for 8 goals in 9 games.
*Palace* away - both goals, Two yards behind the last defender and doesn't jump with Lacroix
*Spurs* - goal 2 - Doesn't react, even a half arsed run and he gets to Maddison, goal 4, let's Werner run past him
*Brighton* - Runs away from Mitoma before then not reacting to the rebound
You'd have thought we'd just try and make it dull for half an hour, bank of three central midfielders, we play into their hands every year.
Much less time scrolling through shite as well, I needed to bin it off whether there's Bluesky or not.
