Confession: Going to Disneyland alone can be a bit nerve-wracking.
I am a member of a meetup group for women (OC Cuties) & we’re doing a Food & Wine Crawl on 3/16. If you’ve been looking for your 'Disney Squad', this is your sign. 👋🏽

70th Stuff at Red Rose Taverne 🌹
My Dad is a huge raspberry fan, so this hit all the notes for him. He loved how it had a mix of cookies and creme with a raspberry filling. 7/10
So, we are giving this dessert the award of "Mid-level Magic."✨
📣 DISNEYLAND ANNOUNCEMENTS
🚶🏽♀️A new parking structure & pedestrian bridge will start construction in fall of 2026.
🏵️ The new Coco boat ride will be located in Paradise Gardens. Construction begins this fall.
🌍 Avatar will be replacing the Monsters Inc. ride & will close in early 2026.
🌟 Made incredible memories with the hubby
🌟 Rode Small World and spotted Coco
🌟 Met Lord Vader
🌟 Saw the Better Together Parade
🌟 Rode Star Tours and got Kashyyyk and Andor
🌟 Watched Paint the Night (again), Wondrous Journeys (again), and Fantasmic (for the zillionth time and it never gets old)
The first Sunday of the 70th was an entire vibe for me. 13 hours of taking it all in and feeling thankful. Here's a quick highlight reel (but not a real reel):
🔥 Hot take 2: Fire of the Rising Moon was AMAZING. You can absolutely stand near Docking Bay 7 and see everything without dealing with the congestion in front of the Millennium Falcon. Absolutely stunning and magical. #dissky
Also, Disney should have closed down Smugglers Run early for the projection show, similar to how they close the monorail for the castle fireworks. People are packed in like sardines and only have one way to get in and out.
I understand it's the first night, but this is a no brainer.
🔥Hot take: if you're not in front of the Millennium Falcon for the Season of the Force projection show, you won't see a thing. Be prepared to stand an hour beforehand, as they close off the area. Projection show is at 9 and 10:15pm.
We were near Docking Bay 7 and could barely see anything.
It's the 1st day of Season of the Force and the viewing areas are packed to the brim 2 hours before the NEW Fire of the Rising Moon fireworks show. Stay tuned for pictures and tips! #dissky
If you're looking to pick up the Death Star Popcorn Bucket at Disneyland, head to Galaxy's Edge and pick it up at the kiosk across from the Blue Milk Stand and near Ogas. They have plenty and the line was SHORT compared to the Tomorrowland Popcorn stand. #dissky
Fireworks on a Disneyland weeknight has been such a rarity.
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I love Mickeys Mix Magic! #dissky

Thanks for sharing this! I prefer updates in text instead of video!
It's a dream of mine to go! Peter Pan is my favorite movie.
I love this show. It was a staple attraction to visit growing up.
You're going to have the best time. Avengers Campus is one of my favorite lands - you'll always catch at least 3-4 superheros out and the food is amazing.
I didn't think I would miss it, but now that's it's been closed for so long, I can't wait to go back!
Absolutely stunning. I am always in awe of the topiaries.
I love that ride!
Ooooh! I'll have to go check those out this week!
Omg meeting Rabbit would be a dream!
I can't wait for it!
