Small businesses are the backbone of Weston’s economy, and I’m doing all I can to stand up for them. 💼
In December, I was appointed to the Business and Trade Committee, where I work cross-party to scrutinise government policy and make recommendations.
I will be working with them to make this happen.
While M&S isn’t returning to the High Street, they do see Weston as a strong place to invest. This isn’t about chasing brand names, it’s about what local people want and need.

This committee holds ministers and major companies to account and helps shape national policy on jobs, investment, apprenticeships, exports, and economic growth.
