This behaviour is repugnant.

May I ask why only one of this group of colleagues is wearing a respirator during an ongoing airborne pandemic? Are there mitigations in this space that aren’t visible in the photos?

The next leap forward: Clean air for Canadians “Weak productivity is making life less affordable for Canadians and beginning to strain our government’s finances and starting to put at risk the social programs on which Canadians rely,” Prime Minist...

Vaccines are an important second line of defense, but we also need to clean the air we breathe just like we clean our drinking water - instead of trying to vaccinate against whatever pathogens might be in it, and hoping we get lucky.

If it can't get inside you, it can't make you sick.

My elementary school library would let us borrow as many books as we wanted over the summer. Almost as good as Halloween.

Sadly, Covid has shown that many are “weak” but don’t know it until it’s too late.

Clinics are the one place patients should be SAFE

Colds, flus & coughs are the #1 reason why Canadians see a doctor

…so where did masking in healthcare go?

It’s political.

All they have to do now, is stir in the climate catastrophe, fascism and a little genocide, and the recipe will be perfect.

Why should I get vaccinated if most people survive the disease anyway? 1. Because any number of deaths is worth preventing. 2. Because getting vaccinated also protects others. 3. Because dying isn’t the only risk. Many people who survive infections with illnesses like COVID-19 & measles live with long-term health consequences, incuding: COVID-19 Measles Deafness
Intellectual disabilities
Immune amnesia
SSPE, a progressive brain disease that is almost always fatal
And more Vaccines protect long-term health for you and others.

“Why is it worth getting vaccinated if the disease isn’t usually deadly?” Any death is worth preventing if possible, and it’s not only about whether you live or die, it’s also about helping you and the people around you prevent chronic illness and disability and live the healthiest life possible!

As far as I can Google, there has been no media coverage of the AI chat bot yet. This is a great opportunity for media in NS and Canada wide, especially independent media to ask some good questions and inform the public.

I hope people in NS fight back against this, and win. NS Health is marketing an AI chat bot as a RELIABLE source of info to PREVENT infection. This is straight from the marketing. But it was trained on droplet dogma and claims COVID spreads by droplets predominantly. This is unacceptable. /1

Last Stand in Bird Flu Ostrich Land The BC ostrich convoy enters the "find out" stage of FAFO and so have we all

As the accursed ostrich situation continues to get simultaneously more stupid and gravely serious, I decided to write up a very long analysis of many of the key issues. Bottom line: so long as this flock lives, it is a threat to Canada's national security. 🧵

Petition e-6679 - Petitions

The petition to draft legislation that would create actual consequences for politicians knowingly spreading misinformation is nearing 30,000 signatures in Canada. In general I don't think petitions get much done, but this is worth it: www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en...

Ford government says it will ban speed cameras across Ontario | CBC News Ontario Premier Doug Ford called the traffic enforcement tool a "cash grab" at a news conference in Vaughan Thursday. He said his government will introduce new legislation to ban speed cameras.

Doug Ford: cities can do speed cameras

cities: good, we will

police, schools, cities: speed cameras have now been shown to work and therefore will reduce deaths

Doug Ford: my friends yelled at me about speeding tickets so more deaths it is

“Cash grab” aka the publicized consequence of breaking the law.

Paying a fine is one of the best things that can happen to someone who is driving too fast.

Or, put another way:

Asshole who racks up between $300 and $400 a month in speeding and parking tickets is a scofflaw too narcissistic to comprehend that he lives in a civilization inhabited by other people, that laws apply to him, and that breaking the law has consequences.

Let this be among the first of many steps towards thinking about the air we breathe, in the same way we think about the water we drink.

Putting clean air infrastructure into the built environment (in schools, daycare, long term care homes, shopping centres, offices, airplanes, buses, taxis, cruise ships...) is more important than ever.

Because giving people the "choice" has led to lower vaccination rates and a refusal to mask.
