This Tuesday I am leading @scmbritain.bsky.social 's Trans Theology Group in a discussion on how the life and ministry of St James the Great can lead us to find hope in imperfection.

The group is for those students who identify as trans, non-binary or intersex or are Trans allies.

Just managed to solve two mysteries at once:

- Why is the vacuum cleaner making funny noises?
- Where is my fine detailing paint brush?

I trained alongside Tony! Great, genuine person, invested in his ministry and community.

Sometimes I wonder if we're due a moral crusade against something actually worth crusading against... these are good options

I've just realised that I haven't had any turkey this Christmas season! And you know what? I'm okay with that. I've had some lovely chicken, some lovely ham, and plenty of my favorite festive food: cheese.

I am so proud that my church in Bath is part of hosting an LGBT+ affirming carol service every year. It's such a joyful space.

I am in favour in an ideal world, but also frighteningly aware that we do not live in an ideal world and the effects on poor, mentally ill, and disabled people could be catastrophic (I'm aware of some awful stories from Canada's MAID programme).

Today is Trans* Day of Remembrance, when we remember how transgender and gender diverse people disproportionately suffer violence. The annual Trans Murder Project report lists 350 trans* individuals who have been killed in the last year. 94% of victims were women/feminine.

We will remember them 🏳️‍⚧️🕊️

We had that problem on Easter Sunday! Turns out the central heating pipes run through the pool. Not a problem for the baptisees, but uncomfortable for the baptiser who had to stay standing in it
