Radiation is also the veil being lifted to our own stupidity. This is seeing the damage we created for the first time with clear eyes. It is the end of denial and the beginning of accepting personal responsibility.
Inevitably all roads lead back to nature. We are spawned by nature and never apart from it. This is her staunch position and terrible lesson. None are spared from this loyalty. Not the innocent, the complicit, nor the guilty.
It is the total annihilation of everything. Powerful forces tampered with and used for ill gain have now been loosed beyond our control.
This is the trickster at his most vengeful and most destructive. He seems to experience a palpable glee in his swath of destruction.

It is giving up without even being conscious of the decision to do so. Nothing glorious, just coasting comfortably to death.
The Tower is sloth and indifference. It is brightly colored with soft edges and sickeningly sweet. The viewer's judgment is clouded.
