A collage of colourful fungi seen in the woods this week. Lots of jelly fungi are enjoying the rain, White Brain, Yellow Brain and Black Witches Butter perfectly describe their gelatinous folded appearance. Whilst Turkey Tails look exactly like turkey tails! Occasionally I will stumble upon a perfect little a vivid little red cup, the Scarlet Elfcup and they are always an absolute joy to find!
For #MushroomMonday #fungifriends I’m still seeing plenty of winter #fungi in the woods at work, at least something is enjoying the rain! White Brain, Yellow Brain, Black Witches Butter, Turkey Tail, fresh Velvet Shanks & beautiful vibrant Scarlet Elfcups are always a joy to see! ❤️
