8/3/26 #OrchidsOfCyprus - One of our invertebrate highlights from the last full day of our tour, an African Green Mantis (Sphrodomantis viridis) found by one of our guests @jelltex.bsky.social here on the Akamas peninsula. An absolutely awesome creature and our second mantis species at this site
We found some treasures on a glorious walk along the Alyn yesterday looking for #SignsofSpring! I was so happy to see my first Early Dog-violet of the year, open Willow catkins, the weird & wonderful Toothwort emerging, Butterbur & Moschatel looking gorgeous!💚
