Trump's tariffs are hurting us in two ways:

First, the obvious: Higher costs → either lower profits or higher prices.

Second, more subtle (perhaps bigger): We’ve signaled we’re an unreliable partner, so allies are reorganizing supply chains to avoid us. That's hard to unwind.

SNAP benefits shouldn’t be a courtroom battle. People shouldn’t have to beg for basic humanity. But here we are.

Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.

Guys, when the president of the United States is building a $350MM+ ballroom paid for with bribe money while simultaneously withholding benefits that feed hungry children, it might be time for a change

The NCGOP communications director threatened the reporter with retaliation.
