I've hinted at this before in other posts but look at weapon roles as more of a sliding scale thing. How often does a weapon go for kills, skirmish, fight at a certain range, anchor, etc. You can assign a role if one of those is common but some weapons just don't neatly fit roles (ex dualie)
I have MANY thoughts on new weps ill do more of a breakdown in future vids tmrow is mostly jus getting the news out, and I also want to see the patch b4 I say anything super concrete...
