Misinformation reduced uptake of vaccines so lack of demand now used as justification for defunding. Huh?

The reality is that COVID vaccines:
- save lives & reduce hospitalization
- reduce healthcare costs
- improve pregnancy outcomes
- reduce risk of long COVID
- etc etc etc

it's good for our health to work at home - if kids are sick, is it better for them to stay home or go to school & infect others? And if they're home, I bet mom/dad can work while their little one rests, instead of missing work or sending their kid to school.

although the list of people at higher risk might be more extensive than some people think; so there should be lots of Albertans still eligible for Phase One (but obviously EVERYONE should be able to get the vaccine free of charge...)

So wrong. It's basic health literacy to understand that vaccines are a Public Health measure. We take them to protect each other. The higher the uptake the better the protection. For EVERYONE.

Weirdly I actually remember the moment the power went out, not realizing the impact of what had just happened. We were among the last homes to have power restored. It was blessedly quiet! 😉 Now we keep gas tank at least 1/2 full at all times, keep cash on hand, and have a small generator.
