Such a sad story. I know how it works and all that - but really there should be some kind of safeguard to stop talented young players getting stuck in no man's land. No idea how you'd do it, but six months out of young players career is too much.

At the end of the day, I don't think we should really be making stories about this. Is it a story? I think because of his great attitude, his being a prodigy and his boyish looks he attracts a lot of sympathy, but really, football is savage. He's clearly not doing what his managers want.
I think as much as anything else, it's like the messaging from Slot to the full back is 'I don't trust you'. This whole narrative around SoBoss being our only good player is terrible fr the team, but its encouraged by Slots changes. I think tinkering w Grav's position then injury is big reason.

Great stuff, agree with all of that. Slot has stumbled because his training rhythm hasn't got into gear. Last season taught us that he's massive advocate of consistency -new signings and Macca/ Bradley/Frimpong and other injuries have screwed that up. Also, loss of Heitinga? Bronckhurst? TRAINING!
