Word of the day is ‘catch-fart’ (17th century: an obsequious individual who will always follow the political wind.

He will still get to pay half the tax due on it. There must be some way of distinguishing between genuine farmers and tax avoiders.

Unfortunately unionists have a history of voting against their own interests (Brexit). Reform had a pact with TUV, more extreme than DUP but Farage decided to back two DUP MPs one of whom (Ian Paisley Jr) lost to TUV. Turkeys voting for Christmas 🤦🏻‍♀️

I think the reality is Farage would not be good for unionism either Scottish or NI. In fact he’d probably be good for Irish unionism and anyone standing on a platform of leaving ECHR is very bad for peace in NI

Mushroom parfait recipe Toppings for toast are perfect winter comfort food and this spreadable mushroom parfait is vegetarian too.

This is excellent if a little indulgent and probably gets rid of the need for a meat option . Answer is melba toast.

It becomes Stephens’s (sic) day for us when we cross the border. Married to a Dub. Heading back up north now but it’s after midnight.

It’s actually 1-6 these days. Try living in Stornoway where Tesco has only just started opening on a Sunday.

Works perfectly. Come Dancing was the OG and Strictly Ballroom led to the revival and it differentiates it from Come Dancing 🤷‍♀️

Only if you don’t remember Come Dancing and then the film Strictly Ballroom. Makes perfect sense.

Season 2 had Jill Halfpenny which was about the best ever dance. Music was better than and was more ballroom with none of the couples choice nonsense! Still love it all though.

His most recent ex wife ( number 3 I think) was a teacher in my kids’ school in Dubai. Nice young woman, emphasis on the young!

Not necessarily, men with no friends ask other men who are too polite to say no. Happened to my brother in law and he felt too uncomfortable to say no!

Making abortion illegal doesn’t stop it but makes it unsafe for women. These people should mind their own business and not have an abortion themselves although in my experience lots of pro lifers chose this route when they get pregnant or impregnate someone.

Generously paying them minimum wage if they’re lucky!

How else could they afford all their schoffels and boot cut jeans?!

They had a tax break for 40 years and still have a tax break only paying 20% over 10 years from 2026. Farming is difficult but I don’t see them protesting against supermarkets’ profiteering or to rejoin EU. I’m more concerned about child poverty!
