Then promptly shut it down and found my couch

Def not the keyboard, the screenshots are just black. There's a hiccup somewhere and it started suddenly a few months ago, and the PrntScn button just shows me the mojang logo

I'll recheck the mods, that's one path I haven't exhausted yet

It's getting the game to boot at all, just keeps crashing on the mojang loading screen

Every time my computer forces me to update when I shut down, it takes HOURS to get Minecraft working again

I just keep repeating the same troubleshooting steps until it randomly works again

About to just start unplugging my computer instead of shutdown, less of a headache overall 🙃

Same here, I play exclusively in survival mode

I think you missed the part where this is an optional setting to make survival mode specifically a little more difficult?

This wouldn't interfere with creative mode whatsoever nor would it overwrite the current difficulty settings

Just don't turn it on, no one gets alienated

I obsessively place slabs everywhere bc I get tired of jumping all over the place. Sometimes it's nice to just walk casually, the walking stick would be a good buff without making the horse obsolete
