Last week, a request from ODOT seeking $2.5 million to study expanding tolling on highways beyond the Ohio Turnpike was paused. In response to coverage in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, I submitted the following letter to the editor.

My guest column in todays Columbus Dispatch. Does the promise of economic development & job creation really merit a multi-billion dollar interstate in a state that already has the 9th biggest roadway network in the U.S. - especially if it costs nearly 7x what we spend maintaining existing highways?
