Mason’s boots splash in the water as they begin to walk away wordlessly. Kip scrambles to their feet shouting after her. “Ah! Um- wait, please! Let me thank you!”

I really thought I had everything figured out. My whole life laid out ahead of me. I got a good job offer straight out of university. Moved out of town for work. Paid for a studio apartment.” A graduation cap and book accompany the narration. Meanwhile, Kip continues to try to speak at Mason, with their speech bubbles being blocked by the characters and narration. They mention moving and having a place to stay in the midst of their frantic appreciation for Mason’s act of kindness. The narration concludes, “I had no friends or family around, and I didn’t need them. I was content living as I was. Day in, day out.” Kip finally calls out, “Um, my name’s Kip, by the way! And you… um…” They begin to trail off as Mason continues to walk off without them. Kip stops in their tracks. “Right, sorry,” before turning around to start walking the other way. “Well, thank you again. I’ll be on my way–” Their text abruptly ends.

Panel 1: Future Doppy is walking through an isolated part of the pool dimension. There is an empty pool with an empty resting bench and a waterfall pouring into it. There is a corridor on the wall next to a plastic palm tree. Future Doppy is holding a bath towel on his hands Panel 2-3-4: Close up of the towel in his hands. There is a map crudely embroidered on it in red thread leading to a marking of a door next to a drawing of a palm tree. He puts down the map and sees the door. He opens the door and it creaks open Panel 5-6: Doppy opens the door to reveal an empty janitor closet in complete disarray. there are objects all over the place including a janitor cart, several towels, a spool of red thread with a sewing needle, and two mops. He walks in, unaware of the mysterious figure hanging above him in wait. They look like Jared Panel 7-8-9: A water droplet falls onto Doppy's head, and it alerts him, but before he can react, a conflict occurs and it fades to black Panel 10: When vision returns, we see Doppy wrapped in a blanket burrito and wearing a blanket over his hair, wrapped like a little baby Panel 11: He starts screaming and wriggling in captivity, Jareth (NOT Jared) runs up to him to try and calm him down Jareth: "WOAH WOAH WOAH SHHHHSHSHSH CALM DOWN DUDE...! THEY'LL *FIND* US!!!" "I just needed to make sure you were COMPLETELY dry before entering...!" Future Doppy in the background is screaming a combination of words that include "AAA WTF LET ME GO" and "LET ME OUT" and several keyboardsmashes, unable to form a coherent sentence.
