Trying to figure out the whole "tv Tenna being dropped at the ghost house" but in human flavor and rn what I got is Tenna's car breaking down in Hometown, no actual car mechanics around so forced to stay for a few days, goes to the police station to figure out what to do, cue Napstablook seeing him and going "oh, it's that guy Mettaton really like..." only to offer him to crash at their houses for the time being (they were also lowkey forced to by Undyne ndksns). Mettaton goes insane and Tenna rediscovers the joy of having fans or something.
More Mettatena thoughts about this but during his stay Tenna discovers that each cousin enjoys his show (Napsta like the music part, Maddie likes the violent part and Metta likes Everything) which helps to bring Tenna's - who was kind of in a slump, passion back.
Although each cousins watches Tenna's show Mettaton is the only BIG fan of it so obviously Tenna is more drawn to him, unaware of the internal panic Mtt is going through, at least at the beginning. Because the more time they spend together the more comfortable they are with each other's, which culminate in an obvious romantic tension, with Mtt long-standing crush and Tenna discovering how bright Mtt can shine when he let's himself go. They end up being very obvious about their feelings, but they never do anything about it, the both of them struggling with different issues. On the last day of Tenna's stay, Mtt offers him to sleep in his bed instead of the couch. Like I said nothing happens but still neither of them get much sleep this night, too busy staring at each other's or something.
