I’m already in mid season form: my husband came home from work and I immediately started yelling about how José Ramírez ACTUALLY should have 2 home runs today.
Every time I see one of those postseason hoodies I think it says “built to fail”
My husband barely pays attention, I’m not even sure if he even knows all of the teams in the postseason. But I was like “guess who made the final out in the game I watched last night” and he said Naylor without hesitation!

I liked when the announcers were like “the Angels got much bigger in the offseason” (as in taller and heavier) in a complimentary manner. That was the best compliment you had???
Overall I’m a little bummed about Gimenez, just because he was so fun to watch at 2B. I still think this was a pretty good trade though when you think about it rationally, and I like Mitchell.
You know how sometimes there’s a player that just continually gets under your skin? Like they’re not *that* bad, but you still want to pull your hair out? That’s my husband with Nick Sandlin. Despite not caring much about baseball, he’s feeling joy tonight.

The dog made me take her out at 1 am last night and wouldn’t go back to bed without a cookie bone. I was tired and didn’t feel like fighting so I just gave it to her. Put her back to bed and saw my husband had already given her one! Little con artist!
