This is really late, sorry. My brain switched to another project, and at some point, half of the changes I made weren’t visible in the UI.

04.06.2025 08:02 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Today’s post isn’t a demo like the others. It’s a quick deep dive into one design decision I made while building Gradie.

I’ve been posting about Gradie for a couple of days now (let’s ignore the fact that I skipped yesterday, please).
If you’re new here: Gradie is a little app that takes an image, pulls five prominent colours, and turns them into custom gradients.

Irregular shaped image with both convex & concave roundings. Shape depends on other elements, how they scale/ wrap. Flexible layout depending on viewport.

Gradie isn't done yet but I'm almost there (let's say 75%?). I'll be sharing videos I made while building it. When it's done, it'll probably look and work a little differently. This isn't its final form.
27.05.2025 18:32 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I was listening to a song and realised how nice the cover image was. I thought it would look great as a gradient, and a couple of weeks later, here we are.

Gradie is a... well, a gradient tool. Upload an image and it creates a gradient from the most prominent colours in that image.
Hey!
I've been working on something recently and I'm going to try posting about it every day until it's complete.
“Liberties” is generous. Personally, I believe Rafe fed The Eye of the World to a goat and fashioned its droppings into the script.
24.05.2025 00:01 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0I’m not shocked. Watched the first season and was surprised by the liberties they took with the story, specifically the finale. In my opinion they just ruined it. Had no interest in watching any more after that.
