I like this! It formalises social norms around reciprocation, and while I don't know how you could legally determine if someone has 'understood and carefully weighed' their decision to ignore point 3, point 4 at least makes them have to fess up to it publicly, so there's some accountability 🥳

Women have disrupted research on bird song, and their findings show how diversity can improve all fields of science For decades, scientists believed that only male birds sang. Then women entered the field and showed what their predecessors had missed.

Stoked to learn as a bird fan and ideology researcher that female birdsong is widespread, this was overlooked for centuries as most research happened in the Northern hemisphere + work on female birdsong is more likely to be done by women! Researcher diversity -> richer, less biased bird knowledge! 🦜

Right, I understand--it's more a matter of economic necessity! Do you think you would choose to continue releasing new versions/supporting OSS under a system like UBI? I'm really curious to hear people's thoughts about the best system for compensating OSS devs, there's so much to consider!
