Just to be clear: Brian Kilmeade *did not* endorse euthanizing homeless people. He advocated MURDERING over 700,000 of them.

And on a network that has been *beside itself* over the murder of just one man this week.

I can understand the anguish from losing someone you looked up to politically.

What sits wrong with me now is that we see none of that from some of the same people whenever children are murdered in school. Maybe we all agree it should all end

Pretty clear that a lot of people jumped the gun on the motive behind Kirk’s assassination. The shooter:

1. Grew up in a Republican family
2. Donated to Donald Trump
3. Loved guns
4. Was steeped in Groyper culture

This isn’t a simple “raging leftist hated Kirk” scenario.

Decrying violence against political opponents rings a bit hollow when you pull Secret Service protection from your political opponents.

Political violence is never ok and must be stopped. In June, Minnesota Democratic lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, lost their lives, and now Charlie Kirk lost his.
 
My condolences are with Charlie’s family, especially his young children.

Notice how not a SINGLE CLIP of Charlie Kirk is being shown on TV as the news organizations try to eulogize him kindly. Even Fox News. You cannot show a SINGLE THING he ever said that wasnt spewing HATE and violence.

What a legacy.

Letters, phone calls, emails, showing up at town halls, protests and ESPECIALLY polling locations.

In no manner was Charlie Kirk a Great American. He was, basically, a trolling white supremacist, anti-LGBTQ college drop-out influencer who profited from division and hate.

We must end the scourge of gun violence in America.

We also need to have honest conversations about the ways internet platforms profit from fear, hatred, and division.

Both are vital to the future of this country.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination was horrific.

That doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of gun (and political) violence has been perpetuated by right wingers.

You don’t get to change the narrative at will.

You have an administration and law enforcement with an ideological bent toward vilifying its enemies and more than willing to lie. You’ve got an entire population of extremists and accelerationists looking to send us over the edge. We have no idea what happened and everything with this reeks.

Let’s not politicize the Charlie Kirk shooting. This is a time for thoughts and prayers.
