Iran has the capability to continue blocking the Strait of Hormuz using anti-ship missiles,sea mines,unmanned boats,which are significantly cheaper than anti-ship missiles.
Tehran doesn’t need to sink every vessel- it's enough to convince shipowners&insurance companies that it’s capable of doing so
If Trump is looking for countries to send ships and troops to the Strait of Hormuz to keep it open, he should start with the members of his “Board of Peace.”
