Like Minnesota, the state of Missouri has a state-supported passenger train - the Missouri River Runner - connecting Kansas City and St. Louis, stopping at eight cities in between.

Would you like to take a train from St Paul to Albert Lea? What about from Faribault to Des Moines? The re-establishment of train service between the Twin Cities ⇆ Des Moines ⇆ Kansas City is possible.

The train is the way to travel. Cheaper than airlines, or a greyhound bus, stations are in well lit places mostly, and there ride is comfortable.

Also y'all, the Amtrak St Paul Union Depot is NICE. Beautiful atrium, literally footsteps away from the Green Line train to Minneapolis, a combo bike shop and cafe, and a little museum!
