I’m in Canada and our time doesn’t go back until next weekend, but when it does I will use that extra time to sleep. I usually stay up later, though, which is not a good thing.

It’s been a horrible country at times, but it has not been this dangerous. Guess ICE has always been a problem, but when you’ve got somebody like Donald Trump enabling them, that’s a massive problem with no accountability. And of course there’s SCOTUS - huge disappointment! So glad to be a Canadian.

My mother is in her mid 80s and she’s seen a lot in her life. She’s never worried about the US before, but she does wonder if she’ll wake up one day to see that Trump has invaded us. It’s a real concern of hers. The utter cruelty I have seen today in videos is beyond belief. 🤬 Evil has risen.

Yes, I think they did. Again, so many of his regime thinks because you are a massive country, they will take us by force. What an insult. Should I be saying Russia should take the US by force? Such bullies! 🤬

I think his words were that he was disappointed that we aren’t “passionate about the American- Canadian relationship.” Talk about being tone deaf.

And it’s funny because your ambassador makes comments about how Canadians are so unfriendly and how we’re anti American. And he wonders why.

I’m not sure but I’ve been hearing it for years before Trump came along. I’ve also been constantly put down because we have gun laws and apparently not being able to carry makes my country so unsafe.

It is very serious and nobody is denying that. And the narrative coming from the White House is incredibly vile. I worry about the next generation of kids between mass shootings and the awful narrative that’s being spewed from the president.

And I still get many Americans telling me that I live in a communist country and we have no freedoms and that’s because we don’t have guns and we have social programs. For years I have heard this even before Trump.
