The standoff with AI bots begins
Cloudflare now blocks bots from OpenAI, Anthropic, etc. by default.
Publishers can grant them access, block them, or... publishers can allow them to access the site.

However, for large sites that cannot manage this manually, automating 301s (extracting keywords from the hallucinated URL to redirect to an existing URL with similar terms) remains risky.
LLMs hallucinate URLs, they invent them sometimes.
And when these fake URLs are created from your domain name, ChatGPT and others send traffic to a 404.
Implementing 301s for each URL with more than one visit is feasible for small sites.
