Duolingo Max’s video call option in Danish is… genuinely terrible. Listened to Piers do one a few days ago and — “du har en far, ja?” is not a thing anyone would naturally say in Danish and screams poor AI translation to the absolute max.

Resolution for 2026 is to watch more cycling. Not wfh like I did 2020-2023 and then moving in with my fiance meant that having the races just on telly for hours on end each weekend felt a bit monopolising (even if he wouldn’t have minded) but it’s my favourite sport and I hardly watch it so 2026!
