Dit is bij uitstek politiek, omdat het raakt aan de "authoritative allocation of values for a society" (Easton). Heinen wil niet dat extreem of radicaal rechtse politici aangesproken worden op dit geweld, maar dat maakt de zaak nog niet apolitiek.
