Torched building

I just got to Peacehaven mosque. It’s a small place. Forensics are here, half a dozen police cars, a few ppl left bouquets of flowers

There were two ppl inside the mosque when the attackers tried to get in. They got out in time thankfully and no one was injured

Trump handshake caps Syrian leader’s journey from anti-U.S. insurgent to nascent Mideast partner When the leader of Syria shook hands with U.S. President Donald Trump, it was a striking moment for a man who was an al-Qaida fighter in Iraq and was detained by the American military.

In 2003, the American military detained him as an al-Qaida fighter in Iraq.

As Syria's leader, Ahmad al-Sharaa shook hands with U.S. President Trump, who later described him as a “young, attractive guy” with a “very strong past."

What a transformation.

Only a few people really get the opportunity to speak truth directly to the faces of people in power and almost none of them take the opportunity. these people are heroes in my book.

Ever wondered why Arab states have done nothing in the last year to stop the genocide in Gaza? Why Arab populations, despite overwhelmingly being in support of Palestinian resistance and liberation, are unable to lend solidarity? Thats the topic of my new video essay.

Harvard fires the entire staff of the Slavery Remembrance Program, the unit of its $100 million initiative tasked with identifying the direct descendants of those enslaved by Harvard affiliates HBCU conf at Rutgers cancelled following Trump's EO Amazon removing 'equity for Black people' and 'LGTQ+ rights' from its policies

Gotta be honest, I did expect big institutions from universities to big tech to bend the knee to the new overlord of the US. I did not expect them to do so this quickly.

Harvard firing the entire Slavery Remembrance Program. Rutgers canceling HBCU event. Amazon adopting a White supremacist policy.

Billionaires Should Not Exist Yes, every billionaire really is a policy failure.

When a single billionaire can accumulate more money in 10 seconds than their employees make in one year, while workers struggle to meet the basic cost of rent and medicine, then yes, every billionaire really is a policy failure.

“These are Assad loyalists spreading lies from the fallen Assad regime and promoting misleading headlines that are far from the reality the Syrian people are living inside Syria.

They’ve used the Palestinian cause to gain more followers and a bigger audience”

Crow sits in a diner with a cup of coffee. A cat and a snake are having a conversation in the background. The tv in the back reads “Tom’s Winning Touchdown”. The crow is frustrated. The Tv in the background shows birds being burned alive. The cat and the snake converse:
- Cat: I finally went on that hike trail with Ash
- Snake: It’s sooo beautiful. Mitchel, Lizzy and I did it last week. Just us, the little family. Mitch pulled a fit of course. That’s how teens are you know? You gotta give’em the cold shoulder, show’em some discipline.
- Cat: Amen. Ash and I loved it. If it weren’t for the gas prices we’d do it every week. The crow is more upset.

The Tv in the background shows two news anchors, a crocodile and a duck, saying:

- Duck: More than 70,000 killed with no hostage deal in sight.
- Crocodile: In his most recent press conference. P.M. Vulture the Plague assured the listeners that his cabinet were working around the clock with their allies to de-escalate the ongoing violence through escalation and get the hostages home.
- Duck: A visionary Phil who will go down in history along with the greats like the late peace laureate Fishy Fishenger.

The cat and the snake remark:
- Cat: GOD. Why won’t they just talk it out.
- Snake: Yea. Or better yet, just take your kids and leave instead of getting yourself killed while they clean up this mess. A coffee mug in the center of the image, the crow is reflected in the coffee. In the coffee vapor we see a mirage of the burning birds from earlier.

The news anchors continue: “In other news, Blake has topped the charts again with his hit “I’m a Rhino going my own way””

The cat reacts: “F’in Blake man!”

New comic: Hike (Part 1).
