I'm not sure if I'll be able to do too much more with it before Halloween, but I'll see! Biggest thing left is a second layer for the mane, but that's dependant on getting the new fur in time - since my coloring technique didn't do much for the mane fur. xD

Immediately I'm like "I should really try adding lips" so now that's also happening - it'll just take like 3 days for the foam clay to dry before I can make them permanent. x3

The mane is coming along! Might add more to the sides / may attempt to color it for the two-toned mane look, but I'm pleasantly pleased with how it looks so far!

Update! Slowly chipping away at the rest of the face! All that's left is the cheek fluff~!

After that, it's on to figuring out how to do the ears, and most excitingly, the mane!

Wanted to give him a quick trim before I get on the rest of the fur - the rest of the white fur is going to be longer pile, and I don't want to make any accidental trims to those bits while cleaning up the face! x3

I'm really hecken' pleased that my infrequent dabbling with all these things are starting to actually kinda work out! x3

Also - I made some eye deets out of some foam clay! Going to let those dry, then plop them in place to hopefully manage the fur around the eyes better. x3

(If it works well, I'll probably do a similar thing for the lips!)

Refurbishing my old @palaeosinensis.com mask that I'd put together (and covered in fur) back in 2018 I think?

Here it is now versus my last refurbishment attempt in 2022. (GOODNESS it's nice to have an actual fur trimmer now.) xD

Hot-gluing in new eyes on an old costume while waiting for other fur to dry while 3d printing more mesh - I don't understand where this productivity is coming from but I'm here for it.

As a substitute teacher, I know I can be a bit of a pushover sometimes... However, I just overheard a highschooler in a neighboring classroom say "It's Mr. [Kai]!" Followed by another highschooler screaming "YEEESSSSS" so I must be doing something right. xD
